paw.com has been upgrading their server and as a result we are having troubles with the CGI scripts for the Forum and BuySell pages. In addition it has been brought to our attention that at least one posting has been lost. Please be patient! We will put a new notice here when the server troubles have been resolved.

Hi fellow J/92 Owners!
I have, in conjunction with my brother, offered to take over management of the J/92 Class Association website. The first order of business is to pass on, on behalf of all J/92 Owners, our thanks to Topher Wurts and Chuck Henderson, who were responsible for designing the site and getting it up and running. They should be proud of a great looking site!! Look for the site to be updated soon. I will attempt to catch up on changes to the owners' list and will review all the entries in the guest book to date. If you know of any further changes or submissions please email them to me. In addition, we will be posting information about the NA's scheduled for the fall as soon as it becomes available. If you have any stories, tips, items for the website please send them along. EMail Colin Mann

We have a bunch of stuff for you this week, although most of it is rather dated, to say the least. Let's just say that we're trying to get caught up on the backlog, and leave it at that, shall we?

First up, we have some corrections to the Owners List. (Musta' been some typos...yeah, that's it - typos.) Check your listing; if it's still wrong, we'll blame that on the typist, too. (It's okay; he likes it when we yell at him, because we always feel bad about it later and take him out to dinner.)

If you're looking for a boarding ladder (or know someone who is), check out our special offer on the Stuff page. And, for that special someone on your Christmas list, we have a link on the Cool Sites page leading to a site that lists boats for sale!

And, if you act now, you'll also receive (FREE!) a whole bunch of stories and articles from J/92 afficianados on our News page!

That's all the time we have for now; keep those cards and letters coming! And please stay tuned for some interesting info on mast bend measurements and lot's more photos!

Friday, March 28, 1997
Ahem. We're Baaaack! Sorry to keep you all waiting so long, but our Web Guy had to go find a real job, and a better place to live. We're happy to report that he was successful in both endeavors and now has some spare time to spend with us, although he's still pretty busy unpacking boxes and trying to find his other sock. (If he's good, maybe we'll buy him a whole new pair!)

Here's a little something for our Cool Links page:
The Crewlist is an on-line database where you'll find the resumes of sailing crew and other marine professionals.

Stay tuned; we'll have some more stuff, right after this word from our sponsor....

Friday, October 4, 1996
Got some stuff for the News Page. Finally! And some new photos from the North American Regatta!

Tuesday, September 24, 1996
Just got back from the North Americans! Unfortunately, our Mac was having a bad day, so we couldn't post all the things we wanted to. We did manage to put together the North American Reagatta race results, though. Yep, that's us in last place. But, hey! Don't laugh, or we'll spell all your names wrong!

And, the J/92 Backstay Flags are finally here. We added 'em to the Stuff Page. Take a look-see!

Monday, September 16, 1996
We've rearranged the home page a bit so we don't have to scroll down to hit the link to this page. (But you already know that, since you're already here!) And we added a page hit counter, so we can see how many visitors we have. Those of you who aren't blessed with big monitors will still have to scroll down to see that. : )

We added Colin Mann's (Poohsticks) favorite Cool Sites to our list. Check 'em out, they're good ones....

Plus, there's a new chart and a couple of tables describing Target Boat Speed added to the Racing page. Print 'em out and hang 'em in your cockpit.

Tuesday, September 10, 1996
Today we posted our Cool Sites page! Let us know about your favorite pages elsewhere on the web, and we'll add 'em to the list.

Alas, we also had to modify the Upcoming Events page to remove two boats that were planning to attend the North American Regatta, but have since discovered that they'll be unable to make it. We're sorry to hear that, guys and gals; we'll definitely miss you.

Wednesday, September 4, 1996
Stop by our J/92 Stuff page and check out the J/92 North American Regatta T-Shirts!

We also added Heather Eisenhauer's Poohsticks photo credit to the Photo Gallery. Sorry we left you out the first time, Heather!

Tuesday, September 3, 1996
Send us your J/92 photos and we'll post them in our new Photo Gallery!

Thursday, August 29, 1996
Just got back from the Philadelphia Folk Festival... wow, what a weekend! But upon coming back to the real  world, we noticed that we haven't posted anything new here in a while, and so without futher ado....

Bullet North American Regatta The regatta that promises to have the most J/92's ever!
Bullet 1996 J/92 Class Membership Form Have you sent in yours yet?
Bullet The J/92 Owners List Names, email addresses, boat names and locations.

Tuesday August 6, 1996
Since we just posted this entire site on Thursday of last week, it's all  new! As you will see (or have already seen), this site is far from complete. We hope you'll forgive the links to empty pages; they won't be empty for long. Our Mac is fired up and ready to go, our favorite Beatles CD is playing in the background, and we've got plenty of coffee. And the boss is walking around saying "Content, content, content! Stop playin' around in Photoshop and post some content, will ya'?" Okay, boss. Comin' right up....
